After umpteen interviews and rejections, I finally was offered a clerkship with a judge. I told her I was pregnant right away and she was super supportive.
The position is my dream job - I will be clerking for the Supreme Court of NJ. I couldn't have asked for a better position/offer. The fact she is so supportive only adds to the awesomeness.
I will start after I take the bar - August 26 - and I'm due on October 4. I hope to work right up until the baby is born and take a few weeks off after he/she's born. The clerkship is only a year long, so I can't take an extended leave, nor do I want to because of the experience. My husband works from home and my MIL is going to help by watching the baby as well. I'm really fortunate that I have such good support although I might come home to find out she's given my cats away.
I just had to share because I'm so excited! Graduation, new job, the bar exam, and a new baby - such a year!

There were a couple of girls in my class who were SUPER pregnant when we sat for the bar, I have no idea how they did it. Possibly astronaut diapers.
You go girl! Wow!
I wish you lots of success and support. You'll have so much going on and I hope that others can step in to support you quite often! And if you are thinking about breastfeeding, make sure you have a wonderful pump with cones tha
