MIL maked me SMH

Today I spent 11 AM until 2:45 PM with my MIL, just me, her, and Emmy. It went really well with one little exception. She brought an entire SUV full of my husband's old baby things.  This included a bag of toys, a chair that is supposed to clip onto the table but was very rickety, a box of books, a bed rail like you put on to keep toddlers from falling out of bed, etc. 

We already have a high chair that she and FIL bought us that turns into a booster seat, Em is nowhere near ready for a big bed, most of the books are over her age range, and the toys...well, honestly some of them are OK, but some of them don't even work.  Absolutely everything is yellowed and stinks of smoke.  My house is TINY.  Where am I going to put it all????

NBD, just makes me SMH.  She does this almost every time she comes over.  I'm not sure if she's just excited to pass things on or if she just wants to clean out her attic...

Do we have the same MIL?? My MIL owns a consignment shop are brings over bags of crap every time we see here including that clip on high chair thing that was prob 20 years old. I think they just like cleaning out their attic!

That's funny! Show all the stuff to DH, he will prob smile seeing all his baby stuff!

Gross it stinks like smoke! Throw it in your attic! Crazy mil's...gotta love them!

My mom did the same thing. She showed up with a suitcase full of outfits, toys, and blankets complete with poop stains from the 80s. Thankfully, she has to fly to visit me so she couldn't bring too much.
