Sun Tanning while pregnant

Just curious about laying in the sun while pregnant, my hubby and I head to Palm Springs tomorrow and laying in the sun is one of my fave things to do there! I asked my doctor yesterday and he said it's fine as long as I stay hydrated  and listen to my body, but I want to get your opinions on the subject, should I do time intervals in and out of the sun, or what's reccomended.

I was just wondering this today as I have a vacation coming up in a few months. Laying in the sun sounds wonderful, have fun on your trip!

I went to the beach when pregnant, and loved it. I did have to wear a higher SPF than I normally would, as my skin was much more sensitive. I also brought an umbrella so I could occasionally get out of the sun and heat to cool off. Have fun!

I laid out in the sun with both my munchkins.  I limited it to about 10-15 at a time.  You get a lot hotter and sweater when pregnant!  LOL

Listen to your OB. Mine did warn me that it was likely that I could tan weird (aka some darker blotches) if I were to lay out in the sun due to the hormonal changes.

I would trust your doctor over a bunch of women on a message board. Have a nice trip.
