Sippy Cups and Peas

Has anyone tried a sippy cup yet? I gave one to Elijah today with a little bit of water. He mostly played with it. He seemed more interested in biting the handle then anything else.

Also we tried peas for the first time. It was the first good he has been unimpressed with. I don't blame him as I am not a fan of peas. He started grumbling at me, so I decided to see if it was the peas he didn't like or if he just wasn't in the mood to eat. So, I gave him some applesauce and he perked right up. He gave me this look, like why didn't we start with this?

Brant likes peas if I mix them with a little bit of pears. About 80 percent peas.

DD likes to play with the sippy cup. I dont think she ever got water out of it yet, but loved to chew on the spout. She watches me drink out of water bottles and a bobble all the time and I think she likes it bc its like mine.

She loves her sippy cup if she sees it she goes wild! She started grabbing at my cup when I was drinking water one day, I finished the glass except for a small drop and tipped it back for her I was so impressed she drank from a cup correctly on her first

I gave Bailey peas and she gagged until she got every bit of it out her mouth. It was so bad I started panicking! I like peas so I was hoping she would too. She did the same thin

Yea DS2 just plays with his sippy cup so no success at that yet. We have tried different foods and peas are the only one that make him gag! DH refuses to let me give him anymore. Anything else DS2 totally scarfs down. So far looks like pears are his fave!
