Working Moms

Post-partum wardrobe?

I'm sure my problem is one many new moms have: My body is SOOOOOOO different now from what is was before my pregnancy that NOTHING I own fits.

Ok, yes, my pregnancy jeans that are wearing thin still fit and some of my baggy 3rd trimester tops fit, but that's one pair of jeans and 5 tops, all getting worn. Even my nursing bras aren't holding up, and every time DS goes through a growth spurt where he starts pushing for more milk, mama-milk-cow's "num-nums" start falling out of the top of her bra cups every time she leans over.

I return to work next month, and I work a physical job. I lean over a lot.

If anyone has suggestions or links to good nursing bras for physical, working moms (especially curvy ones) and pumping-friendly clothes, I would be very grateful!

  • Yeah this is tough for me too.  Bra-wise I love the Bravado nursing bras.  GL!

  • If you don't want to spend a lot Old Navy has nursing tops that make pumping easy. They have sales pretty often online too.

  • This is what I do.  Most of my clothes still fit but a lot of the clothes I used to wear (sweater dresses and stuff) don't really work for pumping/nursing.  I wore a sweater dress, tights and boots to work one day, I had to basically undress mys

  • If you are large up top, I advise against Old Navy.  I was in a EE and am a size medium in shirts.  Their nursing tops showed full inches of my breasts, depending on the specific shirt.  I just wore normal shirts.  I wore a dress one t
