1st Trimester

Ten weeks and no dr yet

I was wanting to get your opinion. I have been waiting on my stupid insurance to go through and can't go to my Dr. until it does. Other wise, I'll be going in as a self-pay patient and will have to fork up 1,200 dollars.. So, I am ten weeks already. I have been taking pre-natal vitamins. Should I be worried? I am doing all I can not to have anxiety about it all. This is my second child.  What is your thoughts?

  • I think since you have been through it with your first you know what to expect and what you are suppose to be doing at this point for the second time around. Keep in mind, a lot of people do not even find out until 8-10 weeks, so I would say you are pr

  • For other reasons I too waited to see the doc. I went at 12 weeks and everything was normal. I too was taking per natals. Good luck I hope this gives you peace of mind.
  • First off, please don't tell me how to respond to you. Its a lot easier for me to not be annoyed in the first sentence of your OP. Just putting that out there.

Second, its not up to the receptionist to know your insurance policies. Its up to YOU.

  • Your post is confusing- because you are basically saying, give me advice and your opinion, but if your advice or opinion in any way says I'm doing the wrong thing here- then don't give it.

  • I could see how it would seem confusing. I'm sorry. I am getting a lot of negative feedback from my mom and mother-n-law about not seeing a Dr. yet, and it is has my nerves going in a negative direction. So, I just wasn't sure if I was going to get the
