Kinda bad news :( not april fools.

So i went for a routine eye exam today to get contacts and I HAVE (early-stage) GLAUCOMA.  i sh*t you not.

The doc ran some tests but was like "I hardly doubt you have this".  well tests show i did

So. luckily its not too bad.  They say most people don't go blind as long as you take your eye drops every day and see them 3-4 times a year.  Worse comes to worse there is laser surgery for it.  So the drops prevent it from getting worse.

WELL FML.

p.s.  won't be on the bump until later, gonna take a nap and process all this.

So sorry that you got that diagnosis.  I have a huge family history of glaucoma and the pressures in my eyes have always run very high.  I don't have it yet but figure that eventually I will.  Good news is that the drops really do help. My
