I'm a high school coach and that was the worst thing I've ever seen. The second replay was much worse than the first. I wish I wouldn't have seen it, I couldn't get the image out of my head. Glad they won the game for him and hope he has a good recovery.
Dh saw it and told me it was really disturbing. He said kids on the bench were throwing up or crying because it was so bad. I'm trusting him and not going to Google it. Poor kid.
Horrific! We didn't see it and then wondered why they never showed the replay. Then Sportscenter said that it was too bad to replay. I Googled it. I shouldn't have Googled it.
We were at the game. Couldn't really see what was happening. They would not show the replay since it was so bad. Finally saw it when we got home. Yuck! So glad they didn't show it there.
DH and I were watching and we saw it. DH didn't even realize it was a compound fracture until I told him. I can't imagine what his family was going through as they watched on TV. I'm sure they wished they could be by his side. Poor kid.
I didn't see the game but saw the story this morning and it's very sad. Hopefully he will have a good recovery. I resisted looking up a picture of the actual injury, however, this picture will probably send me to hell because it made me lau

I was watching the game, and saw it happen. As a prior medic, I have seen much worse, and even I wanted to puke.
