CVS TEST

Have any of you ladies had the CVS test? If so how was it? I have to decide this coming up week if I want to have it. I have done some research on it and the one way they could have to do it using the needle makes me a little nervous.

  • I just had the CVS test last Wednesday. The way the babies are positioned, they did the test both ways - for the singleton, it was transcervical, and I didn't feel that at all. For the twins, it was transabdominal. That way kind of hurt. The needle going

  • I had an amnio done, so it's kind of like a trans abdominal CVS. I'm not gonna lie, it does hurt. It is a needle after all. I have needle phobia and in the grand scheme of things it's not so bad.
