So what did your child eat today?

I was really surprised at how much my daughter ate at my BIL's house. Usually at family functions, she just never wants to eat--there is so much to do. She surprised me today and ate non-stop there--and even tried new foods.

She had ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cauliflower & cheese, and sweet potatoes. Plus raspberry tarts for dessert--and as a snack, and all day long. She actually kept on running back into the kitchen wanting more ham before the food was completely set up and ready. In my husband's family----people usually pick at the ham all day, and then when the meal is served--there is barely any left! She fit right in :)

I am jealous - I have crazy picky eaters.  I could not even convince my little one to try homemade whipped cream.

Also - I love ham.  Hammmmmm.

Reese has her moments. We have for the most part gotten to where she will try most foods at least ONCE. Bribery with crayons works really well--since that is her favorite thing to do. "You want crayons? One taste..."

However, a few weeks ago she

DD enjoyed some avocado and green beans! Would have given her ham but I made it with a honey glaze so that was a no go.

He's usually a fantastic eater but today was not a great eating day. Today he consumed:

    - milk

    - a few bites of a cheese, tomato, and broccoli omelet

    - milk

    - bunny grahams

    - about 3 garbanzo beans, 5 peas, and a black bea
