I was really surprised at how much my daughter ate at my BIL's house. Usually at family functions, she just never wants to eat--there is so much to do. She surprised me today and ate non-stop there--and even tried new foods.
She had ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cauliflower & cheese, and sweet potatoes. Plus raspberry tarts for dessert--and as a snack, and all day long. She actually kept on running back into the kitchen wanting more ham before the food was completely set up and ready. In my husband's family----people usually pick at the ham all day, and then when the meal is served--there is barely any left! She fit right in

I am jealous - I have crazy picky eaters. I could not even convince my little one to try homemade whipped cream.
Also - I love ham. Hammmmmm.

Reese has her moments. We have for the most part gotten to where she will try most foods at least ONCE. Bribery with crayons works really well--since that is her favorite thing to do. "You want crayons? One taste..."

Breakfast, her biggest meal of the day- Goldfish crackers (don't judge- they were in her Easter basket), a scrambled egg, and a banana, plus a cup of milk.
Snack at church- a cookie and juice
Lunch- 1/2 PB sandwich, an apple, milk
Sna
waffle (though he didn't finish it) with applesauce
kashi cereal bar
1/2 grilled cheese, maybe like 6-8 baby carrots, a small slice of his leftover birthday cake
part of a banana, cheddar bunnies
breaded chicken, slice of prosci

chocolate that he snuck out of Easter eggs when we weren't looking. Maybe two bites of french toast and some milk for breakfast.

He's usually a fantastic eater but today was not a great eating day. Today he consumed:

- a few bites of a cheese, tomato, and broccoli omelet

- about 3 garbanzo beans, 5 peas, and a black bea
