Silly question about NT scan results

So I was given 1 in 8,131 chance of Down's syndrome....that's good right?
Or can it be as good as 1 in 100,000 or something higher?
Anyone know the top of the scale?

I was just told everything is normal. I did not get any exact numbers. Probably for the best, haha

For a woman under 30 the odds are 1 in 1000 to begin with.

That is an excellent result. They say 1:300 is considered high risk and anything thereafter is low risk

Basically that means you have a 0.0001% chance of having a Downs baby.  I'm pretty sure you're good

I think 1 in 10,000 is the highest (lowest?) odds they give...so I'd say that's pretty good!

I got 1:18,000 but they said anything over 1:250 was considered normal

I was told 1 in 10,000 chance which apparently is the lowest chance possible, so you're right there with everything looking great.

Yeah I got a post card in the mail that said everything was normal.  When I went to my doctor's she said that the hospital had not sent her the odds results yet.  Next time I go hopefully she will have them.
