I have a bunch of Carter's clothes for LO and they seem to shrink quite a bit. Have others noticed this or is my dryer especially good at shrinking things? It seems like they get a size smaller. Six month clothes are fitting her well.
Almost all of ours are hand me downs. There has been some shrinkage however my daughter is still wearing newborn clothing ... keep waiting for her to fit into the next size up.
I have seen people mention they shrink. I didn't notice until DD2 started wearing her sister's baby clothes. She has consisitently been the same or very close to the same height/weight as DD1 was as a baby. All the hand me down Carters stuff is more snug

They aren't as bad as Gerber clothes, but mine shrink just a tad. Nothing too badly, but we dry all our clothes at medium/cool cuz we wear mostly cotton and cotton shrinks. I've had more problems with shrinkage with Old Navy and Baby Gap clothing than Car
They do shrink a lot. I don't have time or patience to treat LOs clothes specially (except a nice dress or snowsuit), so everything is dried on hot. Once washed and dried the first time though it hasn't changed size. I find Joe shrinks the most, along wit
My sleepers are all secondhand, but my 3mo old is in all 6 or 6-9mo sizes. He's a bit big, but he's not dramatically so! I just chalked it up to baby sizes being incredibly variable across brands.
