...that I will give myself a pedicure! 

'Twas the night before Easter and all through the apartment,

not a creature was found except the pregnant girl

who, vanity calling, answered it back

by picking a nail paint the hue of pink pearl.

And hunched o'er her belly, taking deep breaths before,

with frenzied brush strokes she attacked her cut nails,

and turning a deep shade of red and then purple,

in defeat at more than one coat she admittedly failed.

I haven't been able to do my toes since about 5 months.  I clipped my toenails the other day and no joke, it took me 20 minutes (and I too was bright red afterward).  I have a pedicure scheduled for Wednesday

Haha! I successfully painted and filed my toes the other day but it was a scene. I can think of no better excuse in your life for a pedicure!!

I just did mine! I commented to a coworker earlier this week I was curious how LO g I'd've able to keep it up. But I think being a dancer and a bit of a contortionist, I'll be able to do it for longer than most.

Haha. I was thinking of trying this morning but I'm scared that it may or may not lead to a mini breakdown if I can't.

I too attempted this yesterday! I was exhausted after and it did NOT look good. I have one scheduled for end of May but I think I need one sooner.

You never know where inspiration will lie. ;p I thought we could all use a chuckle. I personally plan on getting a pedicure at least once this summer before the baby gets here. If not, I will be begging my husband to paint my toe nails at least! Poor guy.
