Calico Critters

DD will be 3 in August and I'm trying to think of what to get her.  I kinda want to give her a doll house, but I don't know if at 3 she would really play with it.

If your LO has a doll house, do you recommend a regular doll house or those Calico Critters?  I personally think the Critter one is SO cute, but it's not for me, sadly. 

What did you/will you get for your 3 year old girl?

As a kid, I desperately wanted the Calico Critters doll house for years. Probably from about 4-11. I never got it though. I am so glad that they are being sold in regular stores, when I was younger they were only in speciality stores.

I think the Calico Critters are adorable so we got them for the girls (the Hedgehog family). Unfortunately, I like them a lot more than the kids do.
