I'm starting to get really frustrated. Every night this week I have been having about 2-3 hours of steady, time-able contractions on average 5 minutes apart. I get some throughout the day too, but mostly at night between dinner and going to bed. They're more than braxton hicks but not what I remember as "real" labor. Definitely a lot of pressure and some pain (like on the level of menstrual cramps) but nothing I can't talk through.
Anyone else have this?! I'm starting to get worried that I'll be one of those people who has her baby on the toilet because I just don't know when to actually take them seriously! My first labor was so different, very textbook in how it progressed, then my water broke and I of course knew for sure. But I just don't know what to do this time around. Any advice?
Re: So many contractions and no baby!
Yes! It is called prodromal labor and it SUCKS! I wrote about it in my birth story here--
