Sleep wimpers/cries

DD wimpers and cries in her sleep sometimes. I never know if I should pick her up, or just let her sleep. It's never a scream, and she stops after a few seconds. What do you do?

DS does this, for him its gas related.  As long as his eyes are closed I leave him be.  Unless hes in the swing, in which case I get him out and lay him somewhere flat to help him pass the gas.
