If I walk out of my CNA job and I tell who ever freaking cares do you think I would lose my lic. I am tying of getting treated like dirt my co workers who are trying to get me to quit. I love my residents but do not bed this stress!
I gave a 30 day yesterday but I am just done. I am tired of getting treated like nothing and physically pushed out the way from other co workers. Not getting help on 2 assist residents cause they want to stick in their clicks I am just done
I believe in that setting they they can call it patient abandonment. Just finish your shift, then give then 2 weeks notice. If you really can't handle the two weeks, call in sick a couple of times but try to get through your two weeks

If you walk off the job, at least for nurses, then yes.. you can get reprimanded at a state licensing level (patient abandonment). Don't do it.
However, if you finish your shift and THEN quit (and tell your boss), then you're in the clear. </P
