Migraines go away!

Is anyone else dealing with migraines? I have been getting them at least 3 times a week since this pregnancy began!

My OB prescribed me loritab which I can only take at night because it makes me drowsy and that doesn't really work with taking care of 2 kids.

I never dealt with them during my 2 other pregnancies and I know they can be a normal symptom but I'm just wondering if anyone else has any other tricks to dealing with them?
I have tried drinking caffeine, I'm plenty hydrated and have tugging at my hair and none of it works ::sad face::.

  • Thank you! I think I'm going to try to find someone who does acupuncture near me! They are getting unbearable. Did the acupuncture hurt?

  • Not at all!  I was really scared the first time, a friend of mine is a therapist.  She explained to me how it works:  the needle actually has a "round" tip, so it does not "pierce" your skin as you think a needle would, so it does not hurt.

  • Thanks ladies! I will be trying acupuncture and a chiropractor to get rid of them! I had them at the beginning of my period as a teenager but I'm going on 15 weeks of them and it is just awful! I am willing to do anything to make them go away!
  • Tylenol works part of the time for me. But for those times where nothing seems to work...you can get those packs that can be cooled from the freezer or heated up in the microwave. The heat and the weight of them really seem to help give me at least partia
  • Taking magnesium and b2 really helps with the headaches and migraines!
  • Your OB prescribed you an antianxiety medication for migraines?

  • I had them pre-pg and am having them now. To the point I cannot work or do anything. I hate it! My OB and neurologist said vicodin, but I am afraid to take it. Even thought they both said it is ok. I have tried every trick in the book with no relief. Simi
