My due date was 3/27 and I was also induced on 3/27. I had a successful story for all you moms to be!

At my 39 weeks appointment she was extremely low, so low the nurses and doctor had a hard time feeling my cervix, but my cervix was soft, and I had 0 dilation.

I came in at 4pm on 3/27 and the nurses administered cervidal, which through me into labor about 2 hours later and my contractions were mild and 8 minutes apart.

At 5 am the nurse started the pitocin and my contractions were about 5 minutes apart. They started me on the lowest dose and my contractions got to 2 minutes apart.

At 9:40 they did a cervical check and I was 4cm. At 9:49 I was yelling I had to push and it was burning. My husband ran to get the nurse and within 9 minutes I progressed to 10cm and was ready to push.

The nurse called the doctor who was in surgery, and he had to call another doctor to finish the surgery, so he could run up to maternity to deliver our baby girl. I had 3 big contractions waiting for him, and it was so hard to not push!

The dr literally ran in here and suited up as fast as he could. He barely made it. The nurse almost had to deliver!

She came out in 5 or 6 pushes!

She is 6.9 pounds, 19.5 inches, born at 9:49 am, and has a perfect apgar scale!

Breastfeeding is great so far, and we are happy to have our healthy little girl!

P.S. I did the labor natural medication free. My goal was accomplished! Hurt like crazy, but totally doable!
