I got on the scale this morning and 17 days after birth, I'm two pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight.  I gained 27 lbs a ton of which was water weight (I couldn't see my knuckles the day I gave birth).  Last week I lost 16 lbs in 6 days.  I've been sweating a lot at night, so I know I'm losing the water weight, but I didn't realize I'd lost that much. 

I didn't lose the weight with my DD for 6-9 months. My stomach still looks bigger than normal, but I'm guessing that's my uterus that hasn't gone back to it's normal size.  I think pumping for twins must be helping too!

    That's wonderful! Keep chugging the water. I also just read your update on Silas and I'll continue praying hard for your little man. Also glad to hear your girl is past her birthweight and almost a 2 pounder!! Whooohooo!!

    That's great! You give me hope. :)  Hope all is well with little Silas.

    Edit - just saw your update on him. Will keep the Ts and Ps coming.. poor guy!
