XP: Bad BM?

My mom is watching DD this week and apparently this morning DD only ate half an oz when she usually eats 5. My mom said that she thought the BM in the bottle smelled a bit strong and she decided to taste and she said it tasted "strange" She then grabbed another bag of expressed BM fed it to DD and she ate almost 4 oz. I expressed the BM on Tuesday. It was in the fridge for most of the day with the exception of when I drove home and (half an hour) + when I got home I didnt put it right away in the fridge because I was too excited to see DD. So maybe add an hour and a half, however during that time it was inside a cool bag. Could my BM have gone bad or is my mom confused? What does spoiled BM smell/taste like?

Doesn't sound like it was out nearly long enough to spoil.  BM should be OK at room temp up to 8 hours, or chilled for 4 days.  Could it be you ate something different and the flavors got in there?
