DS has his 12 month appt last Friday and got the Varicella vaccine. His dr said he could possibly get a low grade fever 1-2 weeks later from the vaccine. We had to pick him up from daycare yesterday because he had a 101 fever. His nose is a little stuffy/runny, so we're not sure if he has a cold or if the fever is from the vaccine. Did anyone else see a reaction from the varicella vaccine?
This happened with LO as well, and he got a little rash on his tummy. It went away within a few days. I panicked and called the nurse hotline, but they assured me as long as the fever is low grade and nothing else is going on it's probably jsut a re

My ped said that her one year shots are in the arm so maybe it's a diff vaccine
Dd got her varicella in the same day as her MMR, so we aren't sure if the reaction was to which one, but she had a pretty drastic reaction, for her.
