Things to do before anatomy scan...

Hello all! Any pointers or tips on what to do before the A/S to get the little guy or girl moving? I have mine tomorrow afternoon and I'm hoping the baby isn't shy so we can tell for sure if it's a boy or girl! Plus, my mom and MIL are coming and they're just so excited to see the baby so I'm hoping he or she is moving a bit! Thanks in advance :)

    I drank a bottle of cranberry juice. It seemed to work for my little guy although she was having trouble getting a couple shots at the end, she wound up getting everything she needed.

    Missed m/c discovered June 2nd 2011 at 12w4d
    D&C scheduled June 7th 2011 at 13w2d
    Found out our baby boy had Triploidy XXY through embryopathology
    BFP #2 September 28th 2011 Due June 8th 2012
    Missed m/c discovered November 20th 2011 at 11w2d
    D&C November 29th 2011 at 12w4d
    Found out our baby girl had Monosomy X through embryopathology
    BFP #3 April 24th 2012 Due January 5th 2013
    Betas falling on 04/26/12 Chemical Pregnancy
    RPL testing done, multi nodular goiters on thyroid discovered.

    BFP #4 November 22nd 2012, Due August 5th 2013
    Betas: 17 @ 9dpo, 62 @ 11dpo, 124 @ 12dpo, 321 @ 14dpo 720 @ 16dpo 13,805 @ 23 dpo 
    First ultrasound at 6w3d, hb 122 bpm. 
    Second ultrasound at 7w3d hb 143 bpm 
    Third ultrasound at 10w1d hb 167-170 bpm 
    Forth ultrasound 12w1d hb 167 bpm 
    Graduated rpl program, moving on to regular ob! 
    It's a boy! 

    Little man was born August 1st 2013, 7lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long

    Don't do anything. If they are moving too much, the tech won't be able to get all the measurements. If baby is sleeping, they can do different things to wake it up.

    Thanks for the tips! :) We are going to lunch before the appointment so I won't be hungry. But other than that, I guess I won't do anything! Thanks again! So excited to find out what our first baby is!

    I didn't do anything special before my A/S with DS or this LO, but both of them fell asleep in the middle of the scan and refused to be woken up by juice, shifting positions, etc. My A/S was yesterday and they were able to complete only 1/3 of the scan be

    I didnt do anything and baby was moving a ton.

    I hear drinking OJ or something similar with alot of sugar may help.

    I was so busy at work that I forgot and didn't drink anything except water before my appointment. Needless to say this baby likes to move.  The tech had a hard time because baby was all over the place.  I hope this isn't a forewarning as to what

    My tech was happy that I didn't eat or drink too much before. He was able to get all of the measurements quickly because she was resting. After he got what he needed, he had me use the bathroom and walk around so she would wake up to see her move. He m

    If there's any nice way to do it, ask for an experienced tech. I ended up with a new grad, and the experience kind of sucked this time. She acted like it was a *huge favour* to show me the baby at all. She didn't try anything at all to get the baby to
