Super sweaty at night

Whenever I wake up at night to feed Graham, I find that I am DRENCHED in sweat. I don't feel hot, just cold, clammy and uncomfortable. It makes night wake-ups extra unpleasant.

Anyone else have this issue? I was waking up sweaty in the last month or so of pregnancy also, but not this badly and I figured it would stop after birth.

Guess being postpartum is kinda like going through menopause with the sweating and mood swings, eh?

I am 3 and a half weeks pp and just stopped with the night sweats. It's your hormones releasing, or so I've been told, and it won't last forever!

  • I had this 2 nights ago. I don't remember it happening the first time around, but maybe I'd just forgotten!
  • I've been experiencing this too. It's so annoying. Especially since I don't have the time or energy to be washing my sweaty sheets and nasty hair right now.

  • Oh lovely hormones! I think my hormonal surges have been worse postpartum then they were while I was pregnant. Someone suggested putting a towel on your pillow at night to help absorb the extra moisture.
