Review: Glamour Mom Basic Nursing Tank
I've purchased several nursing tanks over the last several weeks and have been wearing them as undershirts to see which I liked best before loading up on them. By far the glamour mom ones are my favorite and I thought I'd share why.
Fit:
The sizing chart goes by bra size and was easy to choose from. When the tank arrived, it fit as it should and even stretched over my bump. They are long, but not nightgownish.
Design:
The built in bra provides coverage even with the side pulled down for nursing. There is a slit that provides access without just letting the whole breast flop out. I have not found this feature on any other tank.
The clips that open the tank are standard and compare equally to all of the nursing tanks I have seen in stores.
The strap adjusters are in the front and very easy to use. I like this feature because asking H to adjust my bra is a pain.
Construction:
This tank is very well made. All of the seams are well stitched and I found no defects. The 95% cotton 5% spandex fabric is a good weight for layering and wearing on it's own in the summer. A thin profile nursing pad doesn't show through, but a reusable does due to bulk. After washing, there were no issues with shrinkage, rolling or bunching.
Cost:
I purchased from Amazon and the tanks were $25 each. This is just a few dollars more than the target Gillian Omalley brand tanks.
Selection:
This is my one complaint. I have only seen this style in black and white. I wish I could have this in multiple colors.
Hope this helps someone.
