had my first ultrasound yesterday :)

Hi ladies!

So, because I am a Type 1 diabetic, my OB went ahead and did a vaginal ultrasound yesterday at 5 weeks and 5 days...it was pretty amazing! We werent sure what to expect, but we could actually see the heart beating already which was so great! It eases my mind a little bit, and she did say the fact that she can already see a heartbeat so early on is a great sign! We are feeling really great about this pregnancy! :)

    That is so cool! I have a little ways to go to see that, but I know it will be so comforting to see :) FX that everything keeps going smoothly!

    Congrats! I also had an ultra sound done at 5W5D.  I also got to see a heartbeat! They said it was the first day you would be able to see one, but for most it is too early.
