Baby left in McDonald's bathroom...

People are sick....

I was just watching the news in Charlotte, NC and a man ran into the ladies restroom at a McDonalds and quickly ran out of there. When a customer went in, she found a newborn (only a couple of hours old) in there. They took the baby to a hospital and is doing fine. There are several safe drop off places where people can't be prosecuted or questioned for dropping a baby off....why McDonalds?

This news always makes me sad but its 10x worse since having DS!

That is awful....I don't see how people could do that.  I didn't even like to let strangers LOOK at DD when she was newborn, much less leave her in a McD's bathroom and abandon her!

That is sad! I always got upset when this happened but now that I have DD, it really makes it worse. I can't imagine leaving her helpless and crying in a bathroom.

I think that is so horrible- especially since there are places where you can drop off the babies without fault.

I am just glad they didn't leave the baby in a dumpster somewhere.

At least they picked a very public spot to leave the poor little one.  It makes me gag when I think about how many babies are abandoned like this and worse.

That's true...at least the baby is alive and not left outside in a dumpster or something. But, I still could never imagine doing this!
