Sweaty butt or leaking?

I have all bumgenius 3.0s in my collection. I used them for 2 years with my son and now a year and a half later am using them with my daughter, but I am having issues. It is either that her butt sweats or the diaper is leaking through her butt not the legs. I have a few new diapers that don't do this and she can stay in them for up to 2 hours or so.  The old diapers I have to change every hour or so so that this doesn't happen.  They didn't leak  when my son used them so I am unsure what has happened.  Do they lose the waterproofing after so long? I was really hoping to use them again. I follow the directions but I do put them in the dryer on low because I am unable to hang them up but they have never done this before.  Any help or suggestions? Thanks so much.

Turn them inside out and check the pul in the butt area. Sometimes after lots of use diapers will delaminate.

The pul is not as shiny as a new one but there are no cracks in it. I read that you can put the diapers on high in the dryer to get the pul to go back to normal but I am worried this might mess them up more.

Thanks for your response.  I will try it with one diaper.  You are right, the sweat would absorb into the inner part of the diaper.  Didn't think about that. LOL

I am really disappointed to have to purchase more diapers if it doesn
