Ticker Help

I am not sure what I'm doing wrong!  My ticker keeps showing up but I've followed several sets up directions and there is no text/code in the box for me to delete.  I have managed to do everything else fine, changes pics, avatar, etc.  I thought maybe I couldn't do it at work because our filters are so strange but now I've tried at home too. 

Normally I have no problems with this type of stuff, but this time, I'm at a loss.

Thanks! Apparently I just needed to add a new ticker. It would never let me delete completely but it did accept the change when I tried to switch to a birthday ticker. Whatever works, it's better than being seventy-something weeks pregnant....
