OK, I was looking at some of the new 'tags' for the siggy's and I saw the EBF (exclusive breast feeding). Does that mean only breast feeding, no bottles or the baby is exclusively fed breast milk?
She's never had formula, but I pump so she can have BM at day care.
(um, it's a slow day on the boards and I've always wondered this) ![]()
Re: EBF definition?
Me too....
For instance, if you only gave BM whether its through the breast or the bottle, but also fed solids when your baby is older.. I think ppl still consider that EBF.
Hi-
According to the definition of the WHO, EBF refers to the practice of feeding only breast milk - including expressed breast milk. So the PPs had it right.?
Ditto! And LOL... my SIL is one of those prize winners! I think it's funny.
I was wondering this recently also as we've just introduced Charlie to "solid" food -- Oatmeal. We mix with BM (per my bitchy fest the other day about wasting it on food he didn't eat).
Not that I really care what anyone else thinks about his feeding, I'm just curious.
