So finally got a date for when my husband will be able to come be with us and meet his son for the first time! Son will be about 6 weeks old. I dont want first meeting to be at the airport since things can get chaotic...so I was going to leave son with grandma then go pick husband up and then have the first meeting in the house...

I think it's a good idea.  It will give the two of you a chance to have a few moments alone and it will give him a bit of time to settle.  I think it would be a far more intimate setting for them to meet at home.
