To take prescription strength Tylenol? I have the WORST toothache and regular Tylenol isn't cutting it. I'm literally crying. Has anyone taken it while pregnant?
Are you able to call your doctor's office and ask someone there? If it's just acetopmetohphin I would think it's okay but I would definitely call to ask before I took it!
When I called earlier they said all I could take was Tylenol and that I should call my dentist. My dentist isn't open on Fridays and my doctors office is closed. But I'm sure the doctors at immediate care will know whether or not it's safe for a pregnant
My OB prescribed loritab to me for migraines and it has acetaminophen in it and its really strong so my guess would be yes but I'm not a doc! If the pain is that bad to me the benefit would out weight the risk.
I talked to my doctor and he said that it is completely safe to take as long as I stick to the recommended dose I always do. He said Tylenol is a very safe drug to take during pregnancy.
My OB prescribed Vicodin when I had kidney stones. I think that Vicodin is Tylenol 3 with codine, so I would think you are ok. I'd call a pharmacist or on call nurse or something to be sure though.
