Purified or distilled?

Has anyone else had a problem with purified water? I was giving my almost 8 month old distillers with fluoride added and now I can't find it anywhere ?! So I switched to purified water with fluoride added and it seems to be making him gassy fussy! Maybe I'm just assuming things but has anyone else thought this?

    We use purified, but I was told to get the one without fluoride added.....

    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

    We were told to stop using bottled water and use tap water for the flouride.

    Hmmm? At his 6 month check up which was 2 months ago the pedi said to use fluoride added?! What exactly is it for?! FTM here....

    I'm not too sure exactly, I planned on asking Wednesday at our nine month checkup. If that's what they told you to use I would think you could do filtered tap water or purified with it added.

    Um, I'm pretty sure kids aren't supposed to ingest fluoride. Which is why kids' toothpaste is fluoride-free. Yes, our water is fluorinated and that's nasty enough. Fluoride is a toxin. And if your pedi recommends it, you should probably look for a new one

    Actually its still on the shelves... If it was so dangerous they would recall it. I talked to my pediatrician and from her perspective it seems safe.. If it wasn't she wouldn't suggest giving it to a baby... Thank you for your opinion though, but I won't
