My DD is 16 weeks tomorrow. We have not done any sort of sleep training with her yet. My SIL was over today and can't believe that we get the baby asleep first before putting her down. She told me she put the mobile on and her kids would fall asleep on their own. Maybe that worked for them but no way would my DD go for that!
Am I the only one that spends time getting my LO to sleep before putting down at night and naps? Sometimes it takes multiple attempts too.

Yes, putting them drowsy does help with their sleep because they learn to fall asleep on their own. It wouldn't hurt to try it a few times with your DD and see if it works. She may surprise you. But....

We put him down drowsy and he does great. If he does cry, it's only for a couple of minutes then he goes to sleep. We do this for naps and bedtime. We started about a week ago and he is doing awesome with it. He is usually asleep within 10 minutes of b

My guy has reflux too so I have to hold him upright which means he falls asleep since he has a bottle before bed. so he's passed out on me and then goes into his crib. He sleeps good-
I put DS down to fall asleep on his own. Did that from day 1 and never had an issue with it. I feed, burp, then lay him down during the day when I can tell he's drowsy for a nap, and at bedtime we do a feeding, burp, change into j
