Hello!
I have been lurking for a few months. Now that DH and I are officially TTC, I thought I would introduce myself. I am 39 (soon to be 40) and my DH is 42. I went off BCP's and started charting three months ago. This is the first attempt for the both of us. No previous pregnancies or issues (at least that I know of.) Right now we are just trying to "have fun" but I am considering using OPK's next cycle.
DH and I live in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I fundraise for a local non-profit with a focus on ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and DH owns a computer software company. We are very newly married (March 9) and have been together nearly 3 years.
Thank you for sharing your journey here. It has been a pleasure lurking and getting to know you. I am an ubber-newbie, so I don't have much advice to offer, but I will be supportive when I can.
Thoughts, opinions and the occasional swift kick in the arse are welcome. I look forward to getting to know you!
