We are just starting to try table foods with our son.  So my question is do you still feed LO the table food or do you just sit the food on the tray and let them self feed?

Self feed.

Let them self feed. More will get on the floor or in their seat than in their mouth at first. It takes a little while for them to get the hang of it

Self feed, but we only put a few pieces in front of him at a time because he likes to stuff it in there until his cheeks are bulging.  If we're trying something new, he will ignore it on the tray unless we actually put it in his mouth so he can try i

We still feed LO (9 1/2 mo) her pureed food with a spoon. But all other solids we dice up small for her and let her self feed with her hands. She prefers to self feed, but she's got no concept of using a spoon yet, so we make just sure she has finger food
