Tide HEFL users remind me...

HEFL = He front loader

I'm switching from Lulu's to Tide but I'm not 100% sure how much Tide I need to use. Up to the 1 line seems like so much compared to how much Lulu's I used (which was more like a tablespoon).

  • Are you switching because you're having issues, or just because it's easier/cheaper? I'd start with 2T and go from there.
  • Easier/cheaper. The local CD store that sold Lulu's closed so now I'd have to pay shipping. And I felt like it left my washer smelling very diaper-ish, even when adding more soap.

    ETA: Sometimes that seems like the right amount of detergent. Sometimes I have to add a 3rd rinse cycle. But we ha

  • I use up to the 1 line.  I'd start with 2 tablespoons (which is about halfway to the 1 line) and see if you need to make any adjustments from there.
