Hi ladies! I need help....I was feeling so confident about wool and now I'm freaked out. I just tried to lanolize some wool soakers using the directions from sloomb for lanolizing with solid lanolin and a sloomb cube although I'm using the lansinoh lanolin. I made a huge mess!
Here's the link to the tutorial. At the bottom

I had a hard time getting all the lanolin bubbles to disappear in the step where she's stirring in the sloomb cube but I thought I had gotten it. Then I added it to the hot water in the sink and just got chunks of lanolin everywhere and my hands coated! I went ahead and put a homemade by me soaker in to see how it comes out since I figured it might have spots or something but I didn't put in my sbish ones.
I am a little traumatized. Does anyone have different directions? Anyone a lanolizing master that can help me out? Thanks!
