buying bras

Hi! I need some advice on buying bras; I am 9 weeks today and my current bras are getting a little too tight. Should I buy maternity, nursing, sleeping bras? I am a 34D in Victoria's Secret (and it is apparent they do not sell "big girl" bras, as most of the maternity stores measure me at 34B). Should I start at a C cup?

Re: buying bras

  • Go get fitted and buy normal bras. Your rib cage can expand during a pregnancy so you will want to get a new fitting.

I went from a 32 to a 34 with my first and I didn't go back to a 32 until around 9-11 months after giving birth.

  • Comfortwise I would recommend the maternity or nursing bras. It saves you having to spend $ on them later.
