oatmeal and constipation

We started doing Oatmeal a few days ago and now LO is beyond constipated.  She was find on the rice cereal and hasn't had this problem on the formula.  I am sure I just answered my own question but is the oatmeal the reason for the constipation.  I have stopped the oatmeal and went back to the rice.

It is usually the opposite.  Rice cereal is usually what causes constipation and oatmeal usually doesn't.

We noticed the same thing. LO was so constipated so we stopped the oatmeal.  We never tried rice cereal and went straight to the oatmeal.  We're sticking to veggies for now.
