Wine coolers and Smirnoff

Are those okay to drink while pregnant? Not the Smirnoff vodka but the I guess wine cooler type kind. I know it's okay to have a glass of wine I don't know what the difference in wine coolers and Smirnoff is though. Have any of your doctors said it was okay? I'm going to ask my doctor but just wanted to see what you ladies said first.

Good plan to ask you doctor first. I have never heard anywhere that it's ok to drink anything with alcohol while pregnant. I always stick to the side of caution when I am preganant and caring for another human bein who has no say what it ingests. You dont

Wine coolers and Smirnoff are malt liquor.  I'd stay away from it.

If your doc says a little wine is fine, I would recommend a chilled red wine cut with real ginger ale or sparkling water.

Ah yes, nothing beats extra heart burn during pregnancy if it means getting to drink glorified kool-aid.  Maybe you can split a 6-pack with some 16 year olds.

I'm actually a beer sales rep and Seagrams Escapes (similar to Seagrams) is part of what I sell.   I actually haven't had a drink throughout my pregnancy (enjoying the break!) but don't think it's a big deal in moderation.
