Another Breastfeeding question

Everything was going smooth until yesterday evening.I am concerned if he is in pain and I am not doing anything about it :(

Here is my situation DS breastfeeds fine in the beginning.  After  feeding for about 15 minutes than he starts crying out loud. I am wondering if he has gas pain or reflux. I have already tried  burping  him in between and keeping  him upright. He has been spitting up more today than usual. Mamas  please give your insight.

  • I recently determined that DD can get all she needs from one breast in about 5-7 minutes and be perfectly content. Before, I was offering up both sides and nursing significantly longer, resulting in lots of spit up and general fussiness in general.&nbs

  • Thanks for your insight Ladies. My DS takes paci to comfort suck but me being the typical FTM worry if he is  getting enough/is he only getting foremilk as he settles within 10 minutes. I am surely going to bring it up on his 2 month appointment.<

  • It could be what others are suggesting, or it could be a sensitivity to something you're eating - I cut out dairy because my dd was doing something similar and now she's fine. GL :)
