What would you do?

I am in extreme pain, so much it warrants a trip to the er. That being said I have no one to watch lo and hate the idea of taking him he's 3 weeks. I just don't know what to do and need some advice. I've tried everything to make the pain subside but nothing had helped. I suffer from chronic migraines and this one is by far the worst I've ever had.

SO is out of town and the only people around I just don't trust alone with him

If you feel like you need to go to the ER, I would go and take LO. Keep him in his carseat and don't let anyone touch him. Take him out just to feed him and change his diaper. Hopefully he'll fall asleep on the ride over and have a nice long sleep whil

The ER will probably take extra precautions to help you keep lo safe.  I had to take dh when I was 36 weeks pregnant, and they took us to a room instantly to keep me out of the waiting room.

I know you said you don't have anyone who you would leave LO alone with, but is there anyone who you can ask to accompany you and LO to the ER?

I hope you already went, but like pp said, just throw a blanket over the carseat and take him with you.  I wouldn't take him out of the seat unless you have to.  I would tell the nurse at check-in the situation and ask if you can sit somewher
