?s about bringing LO to funeral

So my grandma passed away today which really was a blessing as she was in pain and suffering. She was 90yrs old and it was her decision. Has anyone brought their LO to a funeral? I'm not sure what I should dress mirabelle in? Also my DH probably won't be able to go cuz it's 6 hrs away. So any travel tips are appreciated. Also I'll be speaking at the Church service but Mira tends to cry when others hold her so should I bring her up front with me and risk her babbling or screeching or have someone like my mom hold her? She's only been around my family a few times due to the distance. I'm not religious but my grandma was so any prayers for her are appreciated.

Eta: DH probably can't go bc he just started a new job and we don't know if he can get paid leave. We can't afford to lose pay. Insert sad face

I'm really sorry to hear about your grandma. I would take your LO to the funeral and maybe have your mom hold her while you go up to the front. Do you have any friends or relatives that are not going to the funeral who live by your parents? Would they pos

I am very sorry for your loss. I took LO to my cousin's funeral in February. He was a great joy to everyone around and made everyone smile. If you think LO will be ok then you should be fine.

Ok so here's what we did at the end of January when my great aunt died aged 102 [yep I've now been to 3 funerals in under 12 months].

I am very sorry to hear your grandma has passed.  I will send T&Ps for her.  If you think she would be ok sitting with your mom, by all means, that would be my first choice.  If not, maybe you could put her in a carrier, so at least she
