NT Scan...abdominal or transvaginal?

My Nt scan with my son was abdominal and I was told to drink a lot of water beforehand. This time I wasn't given any instructions, so I'm just curious...where your scans abdominal or transvaginal.

    The sono tech that did mine said the NT has to be done abdominal.

    Mine was abdominal. I wasn't given any instructions prior to my appointment but they did end up needing a full bladder which was no problem with all the water I've been drinking.  Good luck and hope you get good results! I am still waiting on

    I have mine Tuesday. I asked the u/s Tech last week do I need to do anything special like drink a lot of water. She said no we just don't allow you to pee when you get here. She said abdominal unless they don't cooperate then they would go t/v.<span st

    mine was abdominal and they actually wanted an empty bladder. I drank water before just incase though but used the bathroom right before she started per her instructions.
    One DD born 9/23/13.

    Mine was abdominal and I was told to come with a full bladder. As soon as the scan started, they made me stop to go to the bathroom because they couldn't see anything since my bladder was full...

    Last time, they didn't tell me anything, but where I am now, they told me to have an "uncomfortably full" bladder.  I remember how hard they pushed on me last time, I'm sure that's going to be tons of fun with a full bladder!

    MIne was transvaginal, but I'm a special case because my ute is so retroverted.  The u/s tech said that it's pretty much always abdominal at that point.  Congrats on graduating to abdominal u/s!

    Abdominal and the rx stated to not have a full bladder. I took a flip of orange juice about 30 minutes before so I could take my prenatal pill and the tech ended up asking me to go empty my bladder.

    Mine was abdominal last time. I would assume it would be the same this time. My NT scan is Tuesday.
