Pulling hair out

I've caught baby twice today pulling her own hair out. She was bottle feeding both times but I'm sure she has done this other times that I haven't caught. Is anyone else experiencing this? I just emptied a handful out of her hands. I'm concerned why she's doing this

i have seen a kid around our kids age at day care doing it.  He had fairly long hair for a boy and was pulling it out when crying.

My LO does this sometimes too, although he mostly just plays with it and occasionally pulls it. I think it's a comfort thing. He does it when he nurses and sometimes when going to sleep.
