NT scan went great

I posted last week that I was concerned about my upcoming NT scan. Well our appointment was on Thursday, and it went great. NT measurement was 1.3, heartbeat was 168. My little teddy graham was fast asleep until the ultrasound tech woke him/her up. It was great to she him/her rolling around. Definitely my kid...doesn't like to be woken up!

Yes. I believe they are done around the 12 week mark. I was 11 weeks 6 days on Thursday

NT scans are around 12 weeks, so on the verge of second trimester. Congrats!

It is an u/s that is done along with blood work, which has to be done during a certain time period in your first trimester if you are going to do it.  I believe from week 10 to the end of week 13, but then it's too late after that.  It is an opt

Since I am 36 they strongly recommended the test, however, I also had it done when I was pregnant with my son 4 years ago.  I did not get the full results yet, have to wait a few days for that, but the measurement of the fluid behind the baby's neck

What exactly do they do at the NT scan appt? Mine is on Monday and yes I know they draw blood, but what else do they do specifically?  Im getting pretty nervous.
