Advice please-Would you bring LO to visit hospital?

Good evening ladies! I need you opinion please!

So FIL is in the ICU at the hospital(been there since Wednesday). He is on the mend but will probably be there at least a week more. DH has been there with and without me but we've haven't brought LO(due to it being a hospital and all).

I know it would brighten FIL spirits to have a visit from LO though. WWYD?

Of course I wouldn't let LO touch anything(probably would keep him in the moby) and we would keep visit short if we brought him.

Being a germ freak and a past hospital employee, I feel your concern.  I would say check their policy, because most hospitals won't let LOs in the ICU dept.  Keeping LO in the Moby is a great idea and should be fine.

i would ask the nurses.  they would have an idea how much germies are spreading around.  also don't forget LO can bring in germies to sick patients.

As a former ICU nurse, I am going to say no. 1. Because its more than likely against policy 2. ICUs are gross. People there have drug resistant organisms. Said germs get everywhere. Think door knobs, bed rails, etc.

No way. Hospitals are germ factories. And odds are the hospital wouldn't permit the visit anyway.

I think we will just take a cute picture of him and picmonkey it up with him saying a 'get well' message to his Grandfather for now. Then visit when he gets home.

Can you take some cute videos with your phone and show him when you visit? That may help almost as much as seeing LO in person!
