Hep B at 9 mths?

Hi ladies. I've been kind of MIA lately...knee deep in the move, we are less than a week out and I am feeling all sorts of emotional, stressed etc. realizing this is our last weekend here, and our last family meal together is tonight (DH is leaving tomorrow to drive one of the cars).

Anyway, I digress...we are having a 9 month well visit with our MD right before we leave and they told me that I will have a Hep B done at that visit. I thought that another Hep B wasnt done until 12 months? Clearly I will ask the doc when I am there before they administer anything but was just wondering what you ladies knew/experienced? TIA.

Did you delay any of their shots?  I know some people push out ones that they might have otherwise gotten at the hospital and that makes you have to get them at the 9 month.  Good luck with all you have going on!!!

I am a nurse in a pediatric office and we always do the final Hepatitis B at 9 months assuming they haven't had it at 6 months (which is also acceptable).  I hope this helps.  They need 3 doses (birth, 1-2 months, and 6-9 months).  Just mak
