I'm Jess, 33 and have an (almost) 4 year old DS, Maxwell. I'm an only and my DH has one deadbeat brother. I had always wanted a large family and DH always tells me that he wished he had been an only since he doesn't get along with his brother at all. Most days I am completely content with one but feel a little bad that he will never have siblings/cousins. Luckily a few of our close friends are having kids to become his pseudo-cousins 
I had a moderately rough pregnancy with 28 weeks of morning sickness and PPD after the fact. Bonding was a huge issue as DS was an inconsolable newborn/infant on top of the PPD. He has turned into a funny, spunky, polite little man. Every year I enjoy him so much more and we are at a point where we are feeling very content with our life!
I'm so glad that this board has come about and can't wait to get to know everyone better!
